As an Analytics Advisor, you will collaborate with analysts, product developers, healthcare policy, and strategy leaders to identify client trends and product opportunities across the Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial healthcare landscape. You will consult with business leaders, IT partners, and product owners to facilitate product development and guide priorities through insightful analytics.
This position can be located in Woonsocket RI; Scottsdale AZ; or REMOTE for qualifying candidate

Duties & Responsibilities:

--You will create, build, and validate data sets for use in analytics projects and dashboards.
--Designing dashboards and tools that are rapidly comprehendible by product innovation, business leadership, and other non-technical audiences.
--You will confer with the Product Innovation team to capture requirements and design appropriate solutions.
--Creating metrics and data groupings that are relevant to users and enable identification of trends.
--You will develop complex and automated dashboards using data visualization tools.
--Evaluating data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and stability to establish repeatable, sustainable processes to update dashboards.
--Develop a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial healthcare quality performance methodologies and CVS Caremark data to determine the most effective reporting approaches
--Support PBM clients by assessing quality performance and identifying opportunities for adopting CVS Health solutions
--You will translate data into meaningful metrics for use by Product Innovation and the business and assisting with analytics projects.
--Delivering data, descriptive statistics, and key performance indicators in support of strategic initiatives and company projects.
--You will effectively communicate and present end products or results to senior leaders.

This position does not have any direct reports, but leads others in project work and is a thought leader on subjects of expertise.

Your knowledge of analytic software, business systems, and data warehouses/lakes will be valued.

For all projects, your ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, managers, IT partners, and Product Innovation professionals is key to success.

Required Qualifications
--3+ years of advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot
--3+ years of relevant analytic experience working in a data warehouse environment and large, relational, and complex data sets from multiple sources.
--2+ years of relevant programming, such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, and/or Teradata SQL Assistant
--1+ years of relevant experience with PowerPoint and word processing

Preferred Qualifications
--3+ years of demonstrated experience performing data manipulation and developing statistical approaches, within a highly regulated industry.
--2+ years of experience leading projects in a business setting.
--2+ years as analyst or consultant specifically defining business requirements to develop a solution.
--2+ years of hands-on experience with a data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau or Power BI.
--Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, as needed, per business needs.

--Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
--Master’s degree in analytic field (i.e.: business, computer science, public health) is preferred.
